At LC Shield (operated by DZent Limited), we take trade secrecy and data privacy with utmost seriousness. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with our platform.

1.Zero Trade Data Retention (Local-First Architecture)

Local-First · In-Memory Processing

  • No Central Database Storage: Uploaded trade documents (e.g., Commercial Invoices, Bills of Lading) and pasted SWIFT MT700 credits are parsed in-memory during your session and are NEVER stored, saved, or indexed on our central servers.
  • Pass-Through LLM Processing: Analysis requests are streamed as pass-through API calls directly to the LLM provider and returned to your session with zero central database retention. We do not persist your document contents after the report is rendered.
  • Immediate Data Release: Once your discrepancy analysis or amendment draft is rendered, the temporary processing buffer is purged.
  • No AI Training: Your proprietary trade data and credit terms are never used to train, retrain, or improve public machine learning models.

2.Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate our service:

  • Account & License Verification Data: When you purchase a license via Stripe, we process your email address and payment status to verify entitlement (/api/entitlement).
  • Technical Log Data: For security and rate-limiting purposes, we temporarily process IP addresses at the backend API layer (/api/quota) to enforce free tier usage limits.
  • Local Browser Storage: Your API keys (BYO-Key), language preferences, and presentation history are stored strictly within your local browser storage (localStorage) and can be cleared by you at any time.

3.Global Compliance (GDPR & CCPA)

  • EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): You retain the right to request access to or deletion of your transactional billing records.
  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA): We do not sell, rent, or share personal or trade information with third-party advertisers under any circumstances.

4.Third-Party Data Processors

To provide our service, we route encrypted API payloads directly to official infrastructure partners:

  • LLM Engine Providers: OpenAI LLC & Anthropic PBC (for real-time analysis under strict zero-data-retention API policies).
  • Payment Processing: Stripe Inc. (for PCI-DSS compliant payment processing).
